Match Notes
Penrith lost newly promoted prop Terry Geary who broke an arm playing for the Air Force in a Services Rugby Union game on Thursday he was replaced by Bob Broad.
Hayes & Walker were late withdrawals from the Easts team due to injury with Alan Gill and Trevor Fanning coming into the team.
Ron Clothier replaced the injured Gary Harvey in the first half he was then replaced at halftime by Keith Broad.
Kevin Junee's try was a penalty try when he was tackled by Mal McMartin while chasing the ball in the in goal.
