Biography

Durable C’bury forward was the first clubman to earn life membership while still playing. Thomas, who had steel plates inserted in both arms after breaking them during his career, played over 200 grade games for the Bulldogs and won reserve grade premierships in 1971-72. After resisting many offers from others clubs, he spent the 1976-77 seasons in Cronulla's lower grades before returning to C’bury midway through the latter season.

    I have followed the berries since 1958. Norm was a standout for the club everytime he played. He would give everything in every game always coming off as if he had been in a war zone. He is one of my favourite all time CLUB men.
