Mike Wylie should be spelt 'Wiley', and he was born in Orange NSW but served in the RAAF at Penrith at the time he played football for the Panthers (68 to 69) and was then posted away to QLD. He also played Presidents Cup for Canterbury Bankstown and was subsequently graded by the club prior to joining RAAF. He was an above average player who probably never reached his potential as he decided to make RAAF his full time career of which he served a total of 21 years before electing discharge in 1985.
