Biography

Fullback for the 'Students' in the club's final loss to Souths in 1926, 'Butt' Finn also represented NSW against NZ during his career. He later became the NSWRL's medical officer and his memory was perpetuated by the ‘Dr H C Finn Memorial Trophy’ - the former prize for interstate contests before the advent of State of Origin football.

Additional Notes

Finn became the chief medical officer for the NSWRFL, a position he held until his death in 1952. He served in the RAAF during World War II, where he was promoted to the rank of squadron leader.
