Biography
Easts winger played in the club’s champion teams that won premierships in 1935-37. Tottey’s premiership career produced a unique record when he scored tries in 15 consecutive matches in 1935-36. Tottey was a try-scorer in the club's 19-3 win over Souths in 1935 and followed this with a double in the club’s win over Balmain in the 1936 final. He played in three interstate matches during 1937. Selected for the Kangaroos that year he unfortunately broke his ankle in a game at Grafton prior to the team leaving for its short tour of NZ. Tottey travelled overseas with the Kangaroos and signed with Halifax after his recovery.
