Doug Fleming

Goal-kicking fullback was graded as a 17-year-old in 1947 and forced the club's Test star Noel Pidding onto the wing when he came into first grade in 1949. Fleming played in St George's grand final win over Souths that year and was later the season's top point-scorer in 1955 (1t, 87g - 177pts) and 1956 (3t, 81g - 171pts). He won another premiership with St George in 1956 before retiring the following year.
