Biography
Welsh-born winger immigrated to Australia as an infant where he later played a season with Newtown. Returning to England, Boocker joined Wakefield Trinity and played for Wales in the historic match against the 1948-49 Kangaroos. He represented Wales a further four times during his career and in his final season in English club football (1953-54) he scored a club record 32 tries.

Played 221 matches for Wakefield scoring 127 tries and kicked 6 goals.
During 1953-53 season he scored 32 tries in 32 games.
Played 5 internationals for Wales.

We (Trinity Heritage) have been researching Dennis Boocker as he was a star at Wakefield Trinity. We can add to his Newtown appearances. He played 13 games in his only season (1946) scoring his record 10 tries. He appeared to play in the first thirteen and miss the last two, including the play off game
