Biography

Goal-kicking fullback went straight into first grade at Wests without playing junior league. Keato was the season's leading point-scorer in 1947 (65g - 130pts) and 1949 (1t, 80g - 163pts) and kicked six goals in the club's 21-15 loss to Souths in the 1950 grand final despite being heavily concussed. The greatest point-scorer in the history of the Wests club he retired the following year and later became treasurer of the club before rising to the position of club secretary in 1974.
