Phil Crowe dropped out of a 14 man Paramatta team.
Steve Gearin dropped out of the Canterbury team and was replaced by Steve O'Brien.
During the game Michael Potter changed to jersey #46, Peter Tunks changed to #52 & then Chris Mortimer to #53.
Parramatta during the 2nd half replaced Peter Wynn with Geoff Bugden, Paul Mares moved to the 2nd row & Bugden to prop. Glenn Mansfield replaced Stan Jurd, Michael Moseley replaced Ken Stewart and Greg Henry replaced Steve Ella.
