Midway through the 2nd half St.George replaced Bob Clapham & Tony Banson due to thumb & wrist injuries with Geoff Carr & Barry Cox.
Late in the 2nd half Cronulla replaced Dennis Beeby with Alan Kennington & then Chris Wellman who had a head injury with John Glassington.
