Biography

Former Kurri Kurri forward represented NSW Country before playing for Manly in two grand final losses - as lock 1951 and second row and captain in 1957. Hunter, who also played for NSW in 1954 after returning from Jindabyne, later coached the Sea Eagles in 1968-69; the highlight being the club's grand final appearance against defending premiers Souths in 1968.
