    Bev Risman was one of the finest fullbacks and best goalkickers I have ever seen in over fifty years of following the leeds club I will always remember his brilliant sidestep after catching the ball and starting his run from defence I recall him beating several players on many occasions sidestepping off one foot then the other my fondest memories of Bev are the final at odsal against cas and the cup semi final at swinton against wigan. I had the pleasure of meeting Bev when leeds played leigh earlier this season and more importantly he is a true gentleman
