DA5 was a school caretaker in salford.
On a Monday after saturdays game the children used to greet and praise Dai on his performance.
The head teacher called the children into assembly and instructed the children to have more respect and stop calling him Dai. Theseafter he was greeted on a Modah and other days as “good morning number 8” etc.
