Career Stats & Summary

Vital Statistics

Full Name
Alan Michael Cardy
Wednesday, 12th September, 1945
Current Age
73 years and 344 days

Drummoyne RU centre played in 9 Tests during a brilliant amateur career in 1966-68. Cardy was an exceptional sprinter, winning three successive RU sprint championships, but joined Easts on a massive contract in 1969. He also recommended Wallaby team-mate John Brass to the club as a likely centre partner. Cardy broke his leg in the 1969 pre-season competition and while he did not take the field until the following year his professional career did not reach the heights he scaled in RU.
