Biography

Hard-running Cronulla prop represented Queensland in successive State of Origin series in 1998-00. Lang signed with the Panthers in 2002, where he was joined by his father, John Lang, who was the Penrith coach. Lang never gave anything short of his best in his three seasons with the Panthers and his performance in the club’s 18-6 win over the Roosters in the 2003 grand final after being heavily concussed was one of his best. He retired at the end of 2004 and returned to the G’Coast.

Anonymous above: He has a biomedical science degree, won the university medal and is now doing a PhD. I think he is going pretty well despite your characterisation of his career.
