    Mike played for Bathurst Charlestown in 1979 and won the Grandfinal against Cowra. Keith Cook was Captain Coach.

    One of my favourite all time players. I used to love the way he used to score tries in the hill side corner at Leichhardt Oval. Champion!

    I remember the game on 5th june 1976 when mike dropped the ball against the mighty newtown jets and brian plummer scred the match winning try for newtown to win 12-10

    I remember Mick. I thought he was an American Indian when I first met him with long hair and a piece of electrival tape wrapped around his head. I was five and his mates wrecked the clothes line swinging around on it drunk. Good times in the Valley.

    Went to school with Michael at Marist Dundas although I was several tears younger. He was so exceptional as a schoolboy that in "colour comp" he was only alllowed to run 10 metres before having to pass or play the ball
