Biography
Rock-solid centre/five-eighth, born in Western Samoa, made his international debut for NZ in 1975’s World Series competition. Ah Kuoi played with English Club Hull for a short period following NZ’s tour of England in 1980. Norths won the race for Ah Kuoi's signature but three disappointing seasons in Sydney followed. He later returned to England and played in Hull's Wembley Cup final loss in 1985. A veteran of 28 Tests Ah Koui also represented the NZ Maoris in the inaugural Pacific Cup competition.
