Biography

Hard-working Penrith junior made his first grade debut in 1991, the year the Panthers won the premiership. Tall and lean for a prop, Macnamara developed his ball-playing skills during his decade with the club and was a tireless worker for the Panthers. He played in every match for the club during the 2000 season, in which Penrith qualified for the semi-finals for the first time since 1991, but retired after the Panthers finished with the wooden spoon the following year.
