Biography

Wollongong Wests centre was graded by I’warra in 1988 and impressed with his strong, upright running style. Rodwell scored three tries in the semi-final of the 1989 Panasonic Cup semi-final and played in the I’warra team that lost the final to Brisbane. In 1991 he went on to represent City Firsts before capturing the club's first trophy with victory over the Broncos in the pre-season Challenge final. The first full-time development officer with Steelers, Rodwell played for Country Origin in 1993.
