He was a classy and reliable player for easts in an era when the roosters lacked those qualities badly. Though his goal kicking was a bit dodgy.

He was and is the greatest nrl or arl player ever in my eyes I names my 14 yr old son after him and called him Brendan

I am a Rooster supporter and Brendan Hall was my favorite player to me he was a very great player he signed all my footy cards i have off him plus he signed my jersey he was such a gentleman i hope he is doing well i still follow the Roosters and always will .

He was a reliable, consistent, classy player for Easts during a pretty dud era for the club. Fondly remembered by the fans.
