Biography

Easts second row forward’s sole Test appearance was in Australia’s 19-11 loss in the First Test against NZ in 1909. Mick Frawley, who was no relation to his more illustrious team-mate Dan Frawley, was overlooked for the Second Test of the series which was played in Brisbane. Although he played his part in Easts' first premiership success in 1911 (the 11-8 victory over Glebe) Frawley was consigned mostly to lower grade appearances in 1912 and 1913 before retiring. After serving with the AIF in France during World War I he died of influenza on his return to Sydney in 1919, aged just 33.
