Biography

Norths forward was suspended three times during 1993-94 before having his chance for Test selection denied him in 1995. Hearn was suspended for eight matches for head-butting NSW’s Mark Carroll in the third State of Origin match. A prop forward in a Queensland pack that had dominated their opponents, Hearn looked certain to be selected for the First Test against NZ before he was cited. While he represented the Maroons again in 1996-97, his subsequent form with St George did not bring him back into Test calculation.
