Biography

Son of former Australian halfback Kevin Junee made his RU Test debut on Australia’s tour of Canada and France. A versatile backline player at centre, fullback or winger, Junee started his Rugby career with Eastwood before spending three seasons with Randwick. Switching to Easts in 1995 (his father’s former club) his four seasons in the professional code produced moments of brilliance in between frustrating periods spent on the sidelines with injury. Dropped from first grade in preference of former Manly flankman Jack Elsegood in 1997, it was no surprise to see him quit Easts and return to RU where played for Eastwood and represented the NSW Waratahs in the Super 12 competition in 1999.
