Biography

Giant Souths prop signed with the Roosters after the Rabbitohs' demise from the NRL premiership. Rubin, who played in the Roosters’ grand final loss to Brisbane in 2000, captained Russia (he was born in Odessa) in the World Cup at the end of the season. He retired at the end of 2001 after securing a release from the final year of his contract.
