Had the honour of playing with Bornhoffen in his last A Grade season before being graded with the North Sydney Bears. He was a class above this competition, as demonstrated by his future success. Following his playing career he was a trainer for the Bears & the last A Grade Coach of his beloved McMahons Point. Vale Borno a gentleman taken too soon.
