Penrith lost Zac Olejarnik on Thursday and was replaced by Ross Gannon in the centre with Grahame Moran moving to 5/8, Dennis Tutty & Phil Kliendienst pulled out on Friday and were replaced by Gary Harvey & Wayne Melville.

Dave Applebee was carried from the field in the 2nd half with a suspected fractured vertebrae, shoulder injury & head gash following an attempted "kamikazi" tackle on Mike Ross he was replaced by Ron Carrige.
