Match Notes

Ron Lynch pulled out of the Parramatta side with the flu and was replaced by Mike Jones.

Arch Brown missed his first 3 shots at penalty goal one from in front so when they received a 4th penalty in front 25 yards out Dick Thornett took the ball and drop kicked the penalty goal this is reported in the papers as a goal but in yearbooks it is credit to Thornett as a field goal but it is a penalty goal.
