Dennis Meaney

Hardy Manly forward played in the club's grand final loss to St George in 1957. Meaney represented NSW Colts against Great Britain in 1958 and played in a Possibles v. Probables match prior to selection for the Kangaroo Tour but missed out. He went on to have a long career with Wests and was a prop in the club's losses to St George in the 1962-63 grand finals. Meaney later became a selector with the NSWRL and coached Lismore Marist Brothers to a win in the 1987 Claytons Cup - a trophy given to the best performed Country team in NSW.
