Your Say
Albert Nicholson says: We were newly wed neighbours in Lessingham Avenue, Wigan. When my wife was in labour with my son the midwife asked Chris if he had a spanner. He was flummoxed! A real gentleman. I haven't seen him since 1976 when he presented trophies to my young soccer players and I send him my heartiest best wishes. (07/06/2009)
Peter Davies says: Would just like to say that i had the privilege of knowing and indeed playing with Chris for short while in 1964 and 1965 at Wigan, although he may not remember me. I certainly do him! We had a few games together in the 'A' team, he was a fantastic, tricky, slippery centre with pace and soft hands. I signed from Neath in Wales in 1964 but didn't really make it - they had me down as the (IRON MAN)! (05/02/2010)
