Biography

Cumberland utility back scored the club’s first points in a premiership match (a goal in the 23-2 loss to Souths in 1908). Bloomfield, who represented NSW in two matches that year, finished the season as the club’s leading point-scorer with a modest 19 points. Following the demise of the ‘Cumberlanders’, Bloomfield joined parent club Wests.

    He played all 8 games that Cumberland were in, never missed a game
