Your Say

Mick was one of the most exciting second row forwards I have had the pleasure of watching at Leigh. He was virtually unstoppable from up to 25 yards out and I have seen him beat half a dozen players to score, using his trademark shoulder charge. He was recognisable on the field by his skull cap, and was the hero of many a young supporter and off the field he was always a perfect gentleman. It is sad that today at the age of 75 he is no longer made welcome at the Leigh club.

Thank you for your lovely words about my uncle Mick. So nice to hear so many people enjoyed watching him play his sport.
Thank you
