Biography

Newtown forward, originally from Grafton, made his first grade debut as a teenager in 1960. Wilson played for NSW in 1961 and 1963 before touring with the 1963-64 Kangaroos. Earlier that year he had been invited to tour NZ with the visiting South African team to bolster their forward strength so, in effect, he represented two countries that year. Wilson played in two Tests against Great Britain on tour, including the Second Test 50-12 win to secure the Ashes, and in 16 other matches. His last Test appearance was against France in 1964 while his final rep honour before joining Cronulla was his selection for NSW in 1966.

Graham was the hardest running second rower of his era. Invariably he would beat the first tackler. A real crowd favourite at Henson Park.
