Match Notes
Elwyn Walter was rested following the test match on Saturday and was replaced by George Piggins.
John Fairns dropped out of the Norths team on Thursday with a back injury & was replaced by Keith Outten, Rex Murphy & Tim Pickup dropped out of a 15 man team Murphy was bracket with George Ambrum who backed up from Saturday's test & Pickup was rested after the test he was bracket with Bob Doyle.
John Sattler & Brian Anderson were sent off 10 mins into the 2nd half for fighting.
Gary Stevens tore his hamstring in the 1st half and was replaced by Herbie Timms, Keith Edwards left the field with a corked thigh in the 2nd half and was replaced by Steve Kosta.
Norths replaced Graeme Forlonge in the 2nd half due to concussion with Tony Herring, when Herring came onto the field there was a dispute over who was to be replaced and Norths played for a time with 13 men when they should have only had 12 since Anderson had been sent off the touch judge advised the ref Norths had 13 men and Forlonge left the field.
