Alan McKean injured his back midway through the 1st half and was replaced by Jim Porter with Peter Flanders moving to fullback. In the 2nd half Bill Mullins suffered concussion and was replaced by Kevin Junee.
Dennis Manteit was sent off 5 mins before halftime for stamping on an opponent's face.
