Gary Pethybridge was a late withdrawal from the Parramatta team he was replaced at fullback by Phil Jelley with Garry Thomas moving from fullback to centre.
Mick Trypas replaced Ron Costello in the 2nd half due to a calf injury.
Garry Thomas & Chris Coy were both replaced at halftime due to knee & shoulder injuries by Peter Langmack & John McMartin. Keith Campbell left the field with a knee injury in the 2nd half but could not be replaced.
