Souths Dennis Lee was still suffering from a chest injury and was replaced by Dallas O'Neill following Thursday training. Bob Grant failed to backup after the 3rd test on Saturday and was replaced by Peter Brown.

John Rhodes with a hamstring injury was replaced in the 2nd half by Tony Brenton & Barry Phillis replaced Ron Raper who had a shoulder injury.
