John Bucknell dropped out of the Manly14 man lineup still not recovered from a shoulder injury.

Mick Maher still suffering concussion from a high tackle last week was replaced by John Booby with Noel Cavanagh taking over as captain. Gary Banks replaced Denis Cubis who had an ankle injury.

Alec Tennant who went into the match feeling ill was replaced at halftime by George McTaggart.
