Match Notes
This was Col Greenwood's last game with Norths he was sacked as coach and replaced by Roy Francis who was signed from Leeds but only for 7 weeks up to Rd 18. Norths asked Greenwood to stay on as captain but he declined and wanted to leave. At the time it was unknown who was going to coach the final 4 weeks as it turned out Ross Warner took over as capt/coach for the final 4 rounds.
